Esport1 enters the Slovenian esports market

The biggest Hungarian esports media company is now expanding its activities in Slovenia.

Budapest, 2022.04.26. - Esports and gaming media company Esport1 is expanding its portfolio and activities in the Central-European region with Slovenia being among the first countries of expansion. Esport1.si aims to bring esports and gaming closer to fans and those who are not yet familiar with the video game industry.

Esport1 was founded in 2016 and quickly became the number one esports and gaming media company in Hungary. Esport1.hu, together with its gaming site PCGuru.hu is followed by more than 500.000 unique readers on a monthly basis, and its media division, Esport1 TV produces more than 300 hours of live esports content per month.

Broadcasts include national and international competitions, as Esport1, among others, is the exclusive Hungarian broadcast partner of ESL, the world largest esports organization and Riot Games, publisher of world famous games such as League of Legends or Valorant. The company is also one of the main organizers of V4 Future Sports Festival, one of the CEE region’s largest esports competitions.

The company’s first step is the now established news site esport1.si, where fans can get their daily source of esports and gaming content, with organizing local and regional competitions and broadcasting those in Slovenian language coming later in the year.
