Founded in 2016, Esport1 is now Hungary’s first and biggest esports and gaming media company. Started as a news site for gaming and esports news in Hungarian language, in the recent years we managed to become a full service esports media company.
In 2017, we acquired Hungarian Esport TV (Now Esport1 TV), which is now the biggest Hungarian esports broadcast network with more than 100 000 followers on its various Twitch channels.
In 2018, after the first V4 Future Sports Festival, one of the largest esports festivals in Central-Europe, we started cooperations with partners from the CEE region.
In 2019, we acquired PCGuru.hu, one of the oldest and most known gaming media magazines in Hungary, expanding our portfolio towards the gaming community.
In 2020, we kicked off Hungary’s very first online esports TV, Esportguru TV on the MindigoTV network, airing esports and gaming content 8 hours a day, every day.
In 2022, we decided to expand our activities in Central-Europe, with the first two countries being Croatia and Slovenia, but we run various projects on full CEE scale.
During the past 6 years, we organized dozens of different esports competitions from small to international scale, and became long term trusted counsels of numerous companies who entered the world of gaming and esports successfully.
Today, we reach more than 500 000 unique monthly readers through our esports and gaming content, be it broadcast, competition or written content. With our knowledge and expertise, we are focusing on building new markets, educating and involving new market players into the gaming and esports world.
